The Wayfinder’s Reckoning

The Wayfinder’s Reckoning: Confidence to Act When Others Hesitate is an unforgettable middle-grade adventure that teaches one of life’s most valuable skills: how to think clearly and act wisely when the answer isn’t obvious.Twelve-year-old Kael Rin boards the Meridian Star expecting an unforgettable ocean voyage. Instead, under the guidance of experienced navigators, he begins learning the timeless habits of observation, measurement, patience, and disciplined thinking. What starts as a journey across the Atlantic gradually becomes a journey toward sound judgment. When a violent storm and a lightning strike disable the ship’s navigation systems, uncertainty spreads across the bridge. Armed with little more than a brass sextant and the habits of mind he has spent days developing, Kael faces his greatest challenge yet. Rather than seeking attention or trying to become the hero, he learns that real confidence comes from telling the truth about what he knows, admitting what he doesn’t, and trusting experienced leaders to make informed decisions.Filled with authentic maritime detail, memorable characters, and meaningful life lessons, The Wayfinder’s Reckoning is far more than an adventure story.
