This book is a story of a boy born under less than ideal circumstances and not knowing why his childhood was so turbulent until the family secret was finally exposed when he turned 21. From that point on, his attitude on life was forever changed. His anger had him living on the edge which ultimately led him to purposely put his life and life style in peril many times over including his tour in Vietnam. Those who know him have described him as a mental bitch but it was that attitude and his intestinal fortitude that allowed him to face adversity without fear of failure. Any other way is giving in to life and he simply wasn’t raised that way. And for reasons he cannot understand, he has met every challenge including those that were self-inflicted, to press forward and continues to put one foot in front of the other.
