We are wounded; it is our vulnerable condition. The response to our vulnerability must be care, hospitality, compassion, companionship, love. The hyper-consumer society makes, almost impossible, the deployment of the profoundly human, because of the superficial and the artificial put in the spectacle of everyday life.
