The voice really started when I overdosed with drugs and alcohol when I was in the US Army. The voices became my thoughts, until they took control of my life. I heard the voices in every decision that I had to make, what to do, what not to do, but I never told anyone but the chaplain that I heard voices inside my head. It was almost self-destruction. Sometimes it seemed that I heard my uncle Melvin’s voice telling me what to do, but I could not get enough clarity to be sure if it was his voice or not. Every soul would like to do their own thing and make their own decision, but not I. I was totally messed up, until God stepped in and did a new thing in my life. Like they say, but God, he did it! He made a complete one-hundred-degree turnaround in my life, all because I asked him to. It was truly a big blessing. God changes lives, and forever. Amen! He’s the one, the only one, the Alpha and the Omega.
