As Jeff navigates the challenges of youth, he begins to confront the injustices and inequalities of the world around him. This sparks his journey of self-discovery, as he forms his own ideals and beliefs about social justice, personal integrity, and the nature of freedom. The book delves into themes of individuality, rebellion, and personal growth, portraying a boy’s struggle to reconcile his dreams with the reality of his circumstances. Through his experiences, Jeff comes to understand the sacrifices required for true independence and the power of conviction in shaping one’s future.
