The Twelve Powers of Man

'The Twelve Powers of Man' is a seminal work of metaphysical Christianity and New Thought philosophy that explores the latent spiritual faculties inherent in every individual. Written by Charles Fillmore, the co-founder of the Unity movement, this book presents a profound allegorical interpretation of the twelve apostles of Jesus, viewing them not merely as historical figures but as symbolic representations of twelve fundamental powers within the human consciousness.Fillmore details each of these twelve powers-including Faith, Strength, Wisdom, Love, Power, Imagination, Understanding, Will, Order, Zeal, Renunciation, and Life-and explains how they can be awakened and harmonized to achieve spiritual mastery and physical well-being. By aligning these internal faculties with the Divine Mind, the author suggests that individuals can overcome personal limitations and manifest their highest potential. This classic text serves as a practical guide for those seeking to understand the deep intersection of mind and spirit. It offers a unique blend of biblical exegesis and psychological insight, providing readers with the tools to cultivate their inner resources. 'The Twelve Powers of Man' remains a cornerstone for anyone interested in the spiritual laws of healing and personal transformation through the power of thought and faith. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
