The Tower Treasure (1927) is the first book in the Hardy Boys series, written under the pseudonym Franklin W. Dixon (a pen name used by various authors for the Stratemeyer Syndicate). This classic mystery novel introduces teenage detectives Frank and Joe Hardy, who solve cases in the fictional town of Bayport.Frank and Joe Hardy, the sons of famous private investigator Fenton Hardy, investigate the robbery of the Tower Mansion, owned by Hurd Applegate. A large sum of money and valuable securities have been stolen, and suspicion falls on Henry Robinson, the caretaker. The Hardy boys are determined to prove his innocence and track down the real thief.As they follow clues, uncover secret hideouts, and use their detective skills, they unravel a case filled with hidden passageways, suspicious characters, and thrilling chases-leading to a dramatic conclusion involving a stolen red car and a hidden treasure.The Hardy Boys series became one of the most popular detective franchises for young readers, with The Tower Treasure setting the tone for decades of thrilling mysteries.
