THE THRONE OF ME

The Throne of Me: The Epidemic of Narcissismby JJ LaBelleIn The Throne of Me, JJ LaBelle delivers a piercing spiritual examination of one of the most defining crises of our time: the quiet enthronement of self. With prophetic clarity and lyrical insight, LaBelle exposes how modern culture has transformed self-worth into self-worship-replacing humility with entitlement, empathy with performance, and faith with ego.Blending biblical analysis, psychological reflection, cultural critique, and personal testimony, this book traces the rise of narcissism not merely as a personality trait, but as a spiritual rebellion that fractures souls, relationships, and entire societies. From the subtle seduction of validation culture to the dangerous consequences of outrage, aggression, and moral collapse, The Throne of Me reveals how pride corrodes the inner life and distances the heart from God.Through vivid metaphors of mirrors, gardens, and thrones, LaBelle confronts both individual and collective narcissism, drawing lessons from Scripture, history, and contemporary events. Yet this is not a book of condemnation-it is a call to awakening. Where ego shatters, grace enters. Where false thrones crumble, healing begins.Ultimately, The Throne of Me invites readers to step down from the illusion of control and return to the rightful ruler of the heart-Jesus Christ. This is a mirror for self-examination, a map toward repentance, and a bold call to restore humility, truth, and divine love in a fractured world.
