The scavenging mission proves fruitful, with the family negotiating and trading with other scavengers to secure essential equipment. Their return from Dallas is fraught with challenges, the relationships between Grace and Kyle, and Kris and David, are tested. Back at the ranch, where they are safe, family dynamics continue to evolve. Recognizing Kris’s potential, David offers her a chance to become a 'probationary concubine.' To prove herself, Kris must integrate into the wives’ lives and routines, undergoing 'protocol training' and seeking acceptance within the established family structure.Lynn, Josh, and Lily embark on a perilous mission to find Lynn’s parents. This search uncovers a trap connected to a larger plot against David and his family. A threatening invitation demands David’s surrender in exchange for Lynn’s parents.
