The Stolen Country Myth is Charles Edward Scheideman’s fifth book. All of his books originated from his years in the RCMP and a lifetime of experiences involving Natives and the general Canadian population.His history book points out deceptions perpetrated on the general population, school children, and Natives pertaining to the myth about the good life of Natives before the explorers arrived, as well as Native efforts to improve their lives.
