Charles Spurgeon discusses here things like conviction, the effectiveness of the preaching of the cross of Christ in its simplicity, the need for personal holiness for the soul winner, how to capture people’s attention, how to pray for the lost, how to deal with apparently lost encounters, what is the role of disciplining, or how to evangelize as a team. This book is simply amazing. You cry, laugh, go from agony to bliss at almost every page, then you realize that those simple truths written by the prince of preachers is common sense biblical teaching, some (many) of which pointing at you. These are treasures from Spurgeon’s genius.
