The snail is portrayed as confident and proud, often demanding respect and asserting its dominance over other snails. The other snails tend to give the fat snails respect because she comes off very assured and intimidating; the baby snails can’t do anything but respect the big, confident snails that presume in their style and walk. It demands respect from other snails as it is the most important snail on earth. She also demands respect because she doesn’t want any other snail to touch her tray.
