After some badly-planned articles, a shattered relationship and the threat of an impending nervous breakdown, journalist Aran Sellere breaks away from his old life to try and get himself together. He moves up north and rents a run down cottage out in the countryside. He tells himself whilst he’s there, he might as well write the Knight’s biography. The story Knight doesn’t want anyone to know. Determined to rebuild his life and his sanity without the medication, Aran throws himself into exploring the local area to find a distraction. He meets Ludvine Moore, local cleaner and belly dance tutor, who appears to be even crazier than he is. The two hit it off, but their deepening relationship/obsession only threatens to push him further over the edge. But something is definitely not right. Aran can not tell whether it is him, Knight, Ludvine or the village that doesn’t make sense, but he needs to work it out before it all ends in tragedy.

Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
