In the two-act comedy, we meet the Filippo family and patriarch Tony who has taken over the restaurant the Sicilian Lighthouse. When his second-born son, budding filmmaker Carl, can’t cover the bar for the evening, this sets in motion a series of chaotic events. The comedy involves the summoning of spirits, a resurrected ghost father, the struggle between Carl and half-brother Pedro for the heavily indebted restaurant and Filippo estate, and mourning mother Maria who resents Carl’s lover, a 'cougar' she believes has undue influence over her 24-year-old son.
