I thought of penning this book based on immortal characters from two most famous classics of Ancient India , Ramayana and Mahabhrata. While writing this story I recollected all the tales I have read, seen and heard from my childhood days as has been common with almost every household in this country. The Seven Chiranjeevis discusses about the life of the Seven Immortal Heroes in Hinduism who are still believed to be alive over thousands of years. Each one of their lives is unique in some way or the other. We are not going into the debating part of whether these are factual or not rather I have attempted to make this storyline interesting for the readers of all ages by making it informative and adventurous as well. I have explained on some basic concepts of Hindu religion like Tridev, Shakti, Manavantar, Yugas , Rishis, etc; so that readers who are not aware of them shall find it easier to comprehend and relate. Hope this book shall be entertaining for the readers. - Subhamoy Banerjee (Author)
