The Xanerian race, situated at the outer rim of the universe, was one of the oldest races of sentient beings in the universe, and they were faithful to the benevolent wishes of the Presence, which was one of the ruling spirits of the universe, and they decided to go from galaxy to galaxy, seeking planets that were viable to seed with DNA of various sentient being, as well as a great variety of animals. The DNA seeded on the planet Earth was of a species that had proven to be very successful on other planets over the past millions of years, and the Xanerians hoped the humans of that planet would progress to eventually become the guardians of their galaxy.Although the Xanerians, through their appointed allies, guarded over their charges and tried to keep them safe, the Arunaks, being servants of the Dark Power, mislead and influenced the inhabitants of certain planets as they matured, manipulating them into believing all sorts of falsehoods, and ruling over them by appointing certain leaders and promising them great riches and much power to enslave their own people.Goldar Tal, the Brexian, and later also Varosch Mihn, the Loschkatan, were sent to the Earth to ensure the planet’s safety. They, together with the huge Sentinel and the even bigger Destroyer, kept a watch on all that was going on, until the Dark Force decided to attack the Earth by using its sentient allies. The Destroyer and the Sentinel were sent out to deal with the attackers and gave them a thorough beating, but the Dark Force sent in stronger allies, and the Earth was ravaged when they attacked.Again, the Destroyer and the Sentinel were sent out, but this time Varosch, whose mental power was so great, he could destroy anything with his mind, and for a second time the enemy was destroyed. The Dark Power was becoming desperate to show his power. His greed for power, and his thirst to rule, eventually drove him insane and caused him to declare war on his brother, the Presence. This war, which was completely against the laws of the universe, would endanger the whole universe as well as creation, as balance could only be maintained when opposites existed in harmony. There could be no positive without a negative, and no good without an opposite bad. The Dark Force was now threatening, through his mad war, to endanger that balance, and that could lead to the destruction of the whole universe!
