Elizabeth Dejeans was the pen name of American author Mabel Wagnalls (1869-1946). She was the daughter of the founder of Wagnalls Publishing Company and wrote novels and short stories. Her works often explored themes of romance, society, and personal ambition, and she gained popularity for her engaging, character-driven narratives. Wagnalls also wrote under her real name, and she was well-regarded for her contributions to American literature during her time.
