A former newsman for United Press International, Mr. Scheinbaum worked for ABC TV Network News in New York City on the National Assignment Desk, Special Events, and Elections units. He also served as correspondent and field producer for UPI Television and Audio Service. He was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize as part of a newspaper investigative reporting team on urban riots and reported on the war and peacekeepers in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Mr. Scheinbaum holds a B.A. from Hunter College of the City University of New York and an M.A. from the University of South Florida.
