I don’t usually write an afterword for the books I publish, but I had such a great time reading this YA tale of capture and rescue that I couldn’t resist the opportunity to share my thoughts. The Ventara Adventures: The Resilience of Hope offers a thrilling journey where good triumphs over evil, hope shines through despair, and heroism is tested in the face of danger. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Hans David Müller for creating this engaging and inspiring debut novel. Although I am a few years older than Hans, we share a common bond through the cultural icons that shaped our imaginations. Characters like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Captain James T. Kirk, and Spock left a lasting mark on both of us. Their adventures, courage, and determination influenced the way we saw the world and helped us navigate our own paths in life. These stories of heroism and perseverance resonate with me to this day. Now, at the age of 70, I still find joy in revisiting these beloved characters. Watching reruns of 'Star Wars' and 'Star Trek' brings a sense of nostalgia and wonder that never fades. It’s clear that Hans has drawn from the same well of inspiration, weaving his own story of bravery, friendship, and the triumph of hope over adversity. I hope you enjoyed reading this novel as much as I did, and that it brings you the same sense of adventure and inspiration. I have had a glimpse at Hans’ second novel, The Ventara Adventures - All for One and One for All. If you enjoyed this novel you will enjoy the second novel even more.
