Don’t be fooled by all the different stories about Christmas. It’s because the real Christmas story has been under attack. As innocent as it seems, we are in a battle. The battle is not over entertaining our children with stories that make up the Christmas season. It’s over making sure our children understand there is only one real Christmas story, and how can we tell a story if we don’t include the ending. Jesus did come into the world as a baby, but he left as our savior. I’m not trying to take away all the stories told about Christmas; I’m just trying to tell the greatest story ever told. And it’s not even my story—it’s God’s story about how much he loves us and what he did to prove it. It is my hope that all children will know the real Christmas story.
