About the AuthorSerene Singh is a Rhodes and Truman Scholar who currently represents the world’s largest pageant system as the 2021-2020 National All-American Miss. Serene describes herself as '1000 hummingbirds in 1 human being.' In addition to being a full-time Ph.D. student at the University of Oxford, she works as a public speaking teacher for students across the globe. Serene is also the founder of The Serenity Project nonprofit, a competitive Bhangra dance instructor, and an activist for the Sikh community.
