If we are looking for a reason to prove why we exist, if we are looking for a real purpose in our lives, maybe we should ask God to, 'Please, use us in some way to be of a help to those in need.' The words of missionary Jim Elliott rings loud and true in their hearts when he said, 'He is no fool to give what he cannot keep in order to gain what he cannot lose.' Their daily prayer to God is that He would use their lives, in some way, to bring glory to Himself and benefit to those in great need. Maybe their banner verse comes from Matthew 5:16 which says, 'Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.'If this is the sort of person you would like to be, then this story is about you. It’s about everyone who really, truly, deep in their hearts, want to be used by God to help others in their time of need.
