A few years ago the author of The Psi Connection had a disturbing experience while experimenting with self-hypnosis. He saw a vision of a past life in which it appeared he had lived as a farmer in the 1800s. He tried twice more and each time had a similar vision that seemed to be from the same time and place.Frightened by the implications, he strongly rejected the possibility that these experiences were real.
