This is a book about struggle. About change. About personal growth. This is about overcoming. The author experienced something mystifying in his life as he endevoured to bulk up under a muscle-building program. Over the years, his muscles did respond, but something else would happen. Strange unquestionable things. His blood pressure would rise. He would become unwell. The medical explanations were unsatisfactory. When a stimulus happens to you, you are changed forever. You must respond. What choice do you have? In the blink of an eye, the question formed, eternal, forever, bright and blazing in his mind.He wanted the answer to the question that men everywhere have ever formed silently on their lips and in their hearts about the perplexing and the unknowable from their earliest beginnings . . . why? Why did this happen. What does it mean? The author could not find it anywhere so he had to find a reasonable explanation for himself. This is the author’s views and beliefs seen though the lens of his life about why some individuals experience high blood pressure as they attempt to beef up under a weight-lifting program. The author muses: is the high blood pressure an isolate symptom or is it a red flag for something bigger? While he does not dismiss it as an isolate symptom, he believes that in some cases, high blood pressure (hypertension) is a red flag for something bigger. He believes that the consequences of muscle-building have not been elucidated completely. This is his struggle.Whenever you try to attempt change, people will fight you. That is the song of change. That is the Price for knowledge.
