An elementary English assignment sparked the imagination of a child, of whom, had already tapped into creativity. She carefully arranged a few sheets of construction paper, a brown paper lunch bag and scissors to cut out the characters; Herman the Fish, Otto the Owl, Myron the Frog, Bernie the Duck, and Smetly the Turtle. The text was patiently hand printed from a child’s mind with a fine tip marker. A hole puncher and string helped her to bind the story then, 'The Pond Players' was born. As a grade-schooler her intuition told her that she will live in a quiet environment with her pets at her side writing books as an adult. She’s grown up now and is eagerly ready to share her uplifting stories with the world. Linda A. Abbott lives in a dense, magical forest in Minnesota with her son, fairies, and forever hungry orange cats.
