Ken was branded mad shortly after an assasination plot on Mr Presidentwas uncovered. It was not a true mental condition but a feigned attempt to get off the hook of some power mongers and politicians who had tried to use Ken to murder the president and destroy his bid for a second term in office. Ken was talked into shooting the president when he comes to address the crowd in Northern Nigeria after the October 28 2002 Sharia riot. The politicians who misguidedhim all abandoned him leaving him to fate to prove his innocence or be convicted.
