A book is a classic when its words & theories enter a state of continuing even increasing relevance. This book is exactly this: CLASSIC!This collective monograph was, first, published in 2005 (Haifa: News Agalil). Soon, scholars showed great interest in it, and the book went out of print in less than a year. Since then, unfortunately, the problem of violence remains and, at times, becomes more serious. That was the reason why the book was printed again (2nd edition) & now for a 3rd time to draw public attention to the origins of this phenomenon. A brief walk down the lane of the history of humanity brings us to the understanding that at the earliest stages of human development, hunting provided man with meat. Later, he started breeding birds and animals for food. Such violence was justified as it secured human survival. In their efforts to obtain food and water resources, humans have long used violence against their own kind, as well. This violence was directed not only against the external enemies of the tribe, but also against beloved ones and served the purpose of maintaining structure and coherence through fear and obedience. Years passed and country borders made their appearance. Ethnic populations grew bigger; violence spread among the citizens of the country; aggression against fellow tribesmen in the form of terror attacks against the real or imaginary enemies of the leader grew as a power game to maintain control and subsequent benefits. Our history books are full of stories of horror battles and its messages can’t be more relevant to our world today, which is plagued with wars, a pandemic, criminality, economic crisis, fear, poverty &... violence. The primary questions are why is there still so much violence in the world today despite the many scientific advances & where does all this violence come from? This book offers answers to both questions. The contributing authors have traced the answers to what is happening to us during our gestation & how our next generations come to this life.In its simplest iteration, the answers can be found in the discovery that whatever mother & father through mother in the nine months of their baby’s gestation experience is educating the burgeoning consciousness - the mind & emotions of their baby.In this revealing exposition of the most formative period in us, readers will track the evolutionary odyssey called life and may decide that there is another way of being here, on Earth! Why not choose peace today!

Three particular themes are basic to this study. Second, and closely related to the first tenet, man is not separable from his environment. We all share in this...
