She also gets herself entangled in a heartbreaking love triangle with the lead detective on the case. But the Nob Hill Killer has his own plans: to seek revenge on Cassandra. He begins to taunt and stalk her in uncanny ways until she finally realizes the only way to rid herself of her tormentor is to killor be killed.
