It will require sacrifice of self-will. Because of traditions, convenience, preachers, family and so-forth, many seekers of heaven are walking the road of easy legalistic 'extremes' - still with hopes of someday living in heaven when they die. These extremes may represent the very reason that Solomon wrote, 'There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; but the end thereof are the ways of death' (Prov. 14:12; 16:25). Perhaps this is also one of the reasons why God will 'TRY every man’s work of what sort it is to receive his reward or suffer loss (I Cor. 3:12-16; Rev. 22:12).
