In the small, sleepy town of Wilmington Falls, where the buzz of a passing car is often the loudest sound, not much seems to escape notice. Yet, even in a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, mysteries have a way of slipping through the cracks-until Paisley and Emmit catch wind of them. Paisley Dallas, with her meticulous nature and sharp eye for the smallest details, often sees what others miss. Whether it’s a thread out of place on a sweater or a misplaced word in an alibi, nothing escapes her scrutiny. She believes that answers lie in the smallest of clues, and with her trusty notebook always in hand, she works tirelessly to piece together the puzzles that leave others stumped. Emmit Elijah, on the other hand, trusts his gut-something that’s rarely wrong. His easy-going manner and relaxed smile hide a mind that’s quick to make connections and an intuition that’s proven time and again to be spot-on. He doesn’t mind letting Paisley take the reins in solving the details, but when it comes down to it, his instincts have always pulled them out of the toughest spots. Together, they opened a detective agency in the heart of Main Street to solve Wilmington Falls’ most elusive mysteries. From petty thefts to more perplexing cases, their agency, as well as their investigative skills, will be put to the test. No matter how small or big the crime, they’re always ready to dive in, driven by the unspoken promise that justice, no matter how elusive, will always be found in the end. In the quietest of towns, the smallest of mysteries are sometimes the hardest to solve. But with this brother and sister duo on the case, no shadow is too long to evade the light of truth.
