The owl taxi follows a young man on the verge of leaving New York who becomes unexpectedly entangled in a web of intrigue and deception. Delayed by nostalgia and a chance encounter with a taxi driver, he impulsively exchanges his clothes for the cab and takes to the streets. This decision, seemingly whimsical, rapidly pulls him into darker territory. A routine fare ends in horror when he discovers a corpse inside the vehicle, abruptly transforming his temporary escape into a tense mystery. The novel uses this sudden shift to explore the fragility of identity and the unpredictable nature of urban life. As he attempts to unravel the truth behind the body and clear himself of suspicion, he crosses paths with enigmatic figures who deepen the mystery and blur the line between ally and enemy. The story draws on the atmosphere of early 20th-century New York, using its vibrant, chaotic energy to heighten the suspense. The main character s internal conflict and the external dangers he faces intertwine, driving the narrative toward a deeper examination of choice, risk, and consequence.
