Darion Younger had planned a life of galactic exploration and study. When they attempted to leave, the ship was fired upon by the Space Security and damaged. The ship managed to make the jump into hyperspace but, because of the damage, could not drop back out.They continued, unable to stop for a few hundred days, until the ship fell into the gravitational grasp of a black hole that flung them into an alternate universe.A benevolent humanoid race rescued them and helped them recover after their ordeal. The alien species gave them another ship in exchange for a gift from each member of the ship’s company. They then departed and spent years trying to find their way back to their own universe and the system that they had left. During this time, they encountered other species and had many adventures before finding their way. 3
