This book is a gripping true story about bullying in the NHS. The subject of the book, a Mental Health Nurse Trainer, got into a downward spiral of Reactive Depression after being subjected to extreme Workplace Stress. His management, some of them qualified Mental Health clinicians ignored his symptoms and treated him as a delinquent. The Trust had a bookshelf of policies and procedures but many of these were broken, perverted or ignored by Trust management. James the 'hero' of the book did break some rules and do some silly things; but, all of his behaviours could have been readily identified if someone had read and understood the Trust's Workplace Stress and Wellbeing policy.
