When her ex-fiancé, Brian Caine tracks her down in North Carolina and attacks her, she wants to push Dan out of her life to avoid getting her heart broken again. Finally, when she decides to press charges against Brian, Dan is at her side. On the day the verdict against Brian, Dan is in New York on business, where Maggie is supposed to be joining him for a romantic weekend, during which Dan plans to surprise her and propose. When Dan learns the verdict came in, and Maggie isn’t on the plane heading to New York, he fears she will never forgive him for not being there. Maggie is at the ocean thinking about everything that has happened..she looks up and sees Dan...........
