Zone 4 All is the New Zone Gallery’s celebrated biannual open exhibition that transforms the gallery into a vibrant showcase of Eugene’s diverse artistic community. This non-juried show welcomes all artists to submit up to two works of art, filling the gallery walls with over 260 pieces of art by local creators working in mediums ranging from traditional paintings to experimental assemblage and three-dimensional sculpture. The event serves as both a community celebration and a pathway for emerging artists, offering many their first opportunity to exhibit and sell work in a professional gallery setting.Established in 1983, the New Zone Gallery has been a cornerstone of Eugene’s arts scene for over four decades. As a nonprofit artist cooperative, the gallery showcases work from approximately 65 members of the New Zone Artists Collective, dedicated to promoting experimental visual arts without commercial constraints. The gallery’s philosophy centers on supporting artists at all stages of their careers, from emerging talents to established professionals. Through monthly exhibitions, First Friday receptions, and programs like Zone 4 All, New Zone fosters a collaborative environment where artists receive feedback, mentorship, and public recognition. This inclusive approach has made the gallery a vital force in Eugene’s cultural landscape, proving that community-supported art spaces can thrive while maintaining artistic integrity.
