The Mystery of the Mojave Vampire

The Hollywood Cowboy Detectives ride again, as they face fugitive Nazi war criminals, trafficked humans turned into gigantic bat soldiers, séances that go ballistic, gigantic alien slugs from another dimension, Hell-spawned demons, a variety of snipers and designated thugs and one ancient, pre-Columbian Vampire! It’s 1946 and Monogram Pictures flack Sean 'Curly' Woods is sent to Needles, California, to investigate a possible ratline used by Hitler’s National Socialist fugitives who escaped Nuremberg justice. With the assistance of studio chauffeur Nick Danby and western film star Hoot Gibson, Curly’s undercover assignment is to offer former German horror-film director Fritz Veidt a position with Monogram.During their investigation, the Hollywood Cowboy Detectives meet a lovely psychic medium whose stage name is Nadalia, her younger sister Dorothy, who is a first-grade teacher, a pretty blonde nurse named Billie, Needles Mayor Jack Grubbe, a cheesy real estate broker and a variety of unique characters who reside in that area of the Mojave Desert. And, once again, Curly’s unusual 'ability' to speak with the dead comes in handy, as the late Lionel Atwill attempts to assist the detectives.Mystery of the Mojave Vampire is non-stop amazing pulp action and adventure, liberally sprinkled with enough Universal Pictures-style horror to satisfy any Famous Monsters fan.
