It was the early 1990s, and the Malaysian-born Chew was exploring SeaWorld when she bumped into Hossencofft, a thoracic surgeon with multiple degrees from prestigious universities...By 1993, after a brief courtship conducted through correspondence by mail, the couple had gotten married and were living together in Albuquerque, New Mexico. And by 1999, Chew would be missing - presumed dead - and Hossencofft would be convicted with her murder.
