All Christians have Ministering Gifts from God. All Christians that answer and accept God’s call to salvation also accept their calling to God’s ministry. Ministry is service. Many Christians believe the only Ministers with a special anointing are those of the Fivefold Ministry; the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. This belief may have caused some Christians to underestimate their value in God. All Christians are God’s servants. A servant is someone privately used to perform domestic services, or publicly used to perform services as for a government. A servant is one who expresses submission, recognizance, or debt to another. All Christians are God’s Ministers. A Minister is a servant that serves as an Instrument. An Instrument is someone used to accomplish a purpose. A Minister is an Agent. An Agent is someone with authority empowered to act for or represent another. Ministers are Means. A Means is a person with financial resources or a strategy to fulfill a goal. During the creation, the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. God also endowed man with natural gifts, abilities and qualities. Therefore, every person has innate abilities. Innate abilities are natural gifts and abilities that make up the nature of a person. However, regardless of the fact that man has natural innate physical and mental abilities, it is the power and influence of God’s Holy Spirit that add solidity to the natural gifts and abilities of man. The Ministering Gifts of God are abilities that enable all Christians to serve God by serving others. They serve others by giving and administering aid, by attending to, looking after and caring for the needs of others, especially the Household of Faith. This is the work of God’s Ministry; the Ministry of Helps and Outreach for such a time as this. There are two categories of the Ministering Gifts of God: the Diversities of Operation
