The present book actually grew out of two earlier ’stillborn’ works: ’The Force Is With You’ (1986) and ’Metacosmos: The Self-Actualizing Universe’ (1999). The problem with each of the former books, based on feedback from those who read the drafts, is they were 'too long, too mathematical and had too much physics.' With that in mind I have pared the content down dramatically and made a greater effort to distill the underlying material from the former attempts into a simpler concept. Most of the mathematics is now found in the Appendices. That concept - boiled down to its most basic essence - is that the universe we perceive is one whole, no matter that it appears superficially as a quadrillion distinct things. Those disparate things are really an illusion, or as some - like philosopher Alan Watts - would say, a virtual display, a distraction from the transcendent reality. The current book discloses not only the background to Metacosm, but also how meditation and mentation can expand our (human) access to it by way of increased awareness.

Este desarrollo material, que continúa desde hace ya varios siglos y que va acelerándose de más en más, ha sido acompañado de una reg...

Justus Hartnack offers a concise and clear introduction to Wittgenstein and traces the influence of these works in the schools of logical positivism and analytical philosophy. This is true of al...
