It is 2029, and in recent years the world has been rocked by pandemics, food shortages, never-ending wars, and economic collapse is not far off. The world has become greatly overpopulated, as the people suffer through countless natural and man-made catastrophes. Through necessity, many of the world’s space programs have been necessitated for the possibility of eventually living off world. The Earth is dying, and the leaders of many nations have been working together to prepare for this eventuality. Though this outcome may be seen as radical to many, this is truly the only issue that these leaders agree on. Even the many corrupt politicians have come to grips with the possibility of mankind’s existence growing bleaker each passing year. The U.S. and other countries have revived dormant space programs and have created an updated group of the most advanced space shuttles in history. The plan was to continue construction of multiple space stations, as well as venturing out deeper in our universe, searching for another planet for man to inhabit. They just did not plan on doing it this soon...
