To lose your shield is to fail to protect all you hold dear, your home, your family, your brothers in arms, whether it be figurative or literal, is a loss that will surely haunt your very soul, perhaps even into the next lifetime, or so far as to many lifetimes to come. A young man now living in the heart of New York struggles through life, every moment consumed and controlled by a seemingly unexplained fear that has only grown more crippling since childhood, and he knows it is likely only a matter of time before this unrest robs him of all he holds dear in life. Out of desperation to get his demons under control, he agrees to tag along with his close friend to seek guidance from a woman who is one with the unknown, and learns that the root of his distress stems not from a trauma in this life, but from one of a past existence, an internal wound he must face, to only then be able to rid himself of the fear that has come to engulf his life in the present.
