She has published over 200 books, including the full-length fairy tales Mole’s Moon River and The Wooden Forest, the novel The Eyes of the City, and the short fairy tale The Ant in the Book. Her works have received numerous awards, such as the national Five-One Project Award, the National Book Award, the National Outstanding Children’s Literature Award, and the Bingxin Children’s Literature Award. Among her works, Mr. Carrot’s Whiskers has been included in primary school textbooks.王一梅，国家一级作家，中国作家协会会员，苏州市作家协会副主席。出版图书200余册，有长篇童话《鼹鼠的月亮河》《木偶的森林》，小说《城市的眼睛》，短篇童话《书本里的蚂蚁》等。曾获全国'五个一工程'奖、国家图书奖、全国优秀儿童文学奖、冰心儿童文学奖等。其中《胡萝卜先生的胡子》入选小学语文教材。
