They moved slowly down and down to earth until the little mouse could see his house and all his family waiting for him, waving up at him. The man in the moon landed safely, and he held the little mouse front paws as he carefully climbed down the craters carved into steps. With that, the little mouse touched the grass and was home again. He took off his backpack to show his family his sculpture and to present them with their glittery moon dust. He looked up and waved back to the man in the moon as he slowly disappeared into the sky out of sight. It was the moon’s bedtime, so he would be bright and rested for tonight again.
