On Christmas Eve, a paraplegic boy dreams himself into a fading star and, with his friends, journeys across the wonders of the universe to uncover his identity and the radiant light within.Transported by a dream on Christmas Eve, NOVA, a science genius paraplegic boy who is bullied at school becomes STARRY, a little star in the distant universe. Starry has a dark spot on his chest causing him to doubt his starry-ness. Believing he will turn into a black hole, he embarks on a dangerous journey with his friends in search of Santa Claus to help him be and stay a star. The little Stars meet HOLEY, an evil back hole who controls the dark swirl with his powerful yo-yo. Holey, wanting to become a star again and have new friends, persuades the stars to follow him.In a battle with aggressive Asteroids, the Rat Star Catcher with his troops, and in conspiracy with Holey, capture two little Stars to power up their planet Zibethicus which runs out of electricity. The little Stars decide to beam to Zibethicus to save their friends. They accidentally meet a mouse from Earth, and they become friends. Together, they free the two Stars as well as a foreign Star and escape with the royal rat spaceship. On their way to Earth, strange smoke invades the cockpit. The mouse needs oxygen. Although they find oxygen to keep him alive, the smoke attacks and becomes the Stars’ shadows, transforming them into their worst selves. Starry uses a radio spectrum to get through this dangerous and invisible threat. But they end up in a black hole where they find Holey, again. He wants them to stay there and be his forever friends. But Starry shines revealing the bright light inside him and sheds light to the black hole which is destroyed. They manage to get in the wormhole and arrive on Earth. The little Stars help the mouse to find his family in Los Angeles and beam to the North Pole. They meet Santa and the Reindeers. Santa explains that all their wishes have been fulfilled during their adventure except Starry’s. He explains that Starry has helium deficiency, that’s all. The little Stars help Santa with the Christmas presents delivery. When they arrive at Nova’s place, the largest black hole ever appears; it is Holey, empowered, and revengeful. After the thrilling battle, they manage to destroy the gigantic black hole and finally, hand the Christmas presents to the children on Earth. It is Christmas Day, and Nova’s friends come to visit him and prepare Christmas tree stars together, including the school bully.
