Reda Issa is born in Dublin, brought up in Ghana, comes from Lebanon and lives in London. 10 years ago on March 30th, 2007, Reda was in a car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury that left him in a deep coma for 2 months. At a time when his survival seemed really bleak, Reda woke up from the coma having to learn how to walk and talk all over again. But he came back with a gift. The gift of seeing reality through another perspective and the talent for writing, which he cultivated over the years. These two godsend gifts are what make his poetry unique.
