The Light of Mourning, Overcoming Tragedy Through Faith, Family, and Forgiveness, was a project that began on January 2, 2001 with a phone call that changed my life forever.   Evil is present everywhere we look and that evil left me with a murdered son. It was the promise of hope and abundant joy that led me through this difficult journey of grief to restored joy.  My prayer is that you find that restored joy in the midst of your grief. "Thank you for allowing me to share in your journey from tragedy to healing.  Your book is an excellent communication of forgiveness exhibited through the love of God.  The book is a narrative of events that led you from the pits of grief to healing.  Your personal walk of faith is an inspiration to me and I believe others will benefit from reading your story." David Myers, MSSW, LCSW, CALA, Certified Bereavement Facilitator Wanda Shelton is a Registered Nurse and has been in practice for over 30 years in various fields including Hospice and Home Care.  She has been involved with drug education in the public schools in conjunction with running drug dogs for inspection.
