This hilarious yet poignant read takes readers back over 60-plus years of the author’s life. Noel G. grew up in a forgotten era, which by today’s standards might be impossible for young people to understand. In his own words: I was in the hospital at death’s door. I thought no one really knows me or the hilarious things that have happened and gone on in my life. My main objective was to recover as quickly as I could and write this legacy. It gave me strength to heal quicker and took me to parts of my life deemed forgotten. When it was complete, and after reading the finished manuscript, I just laughed and laughed. It felt good and I feel I have accomplished something I never thought I would have done. I like most sports and writing funny stories. The stories in this book came mainly from a bar we owned and are about the people who frequent them, as well as my life’s trials and tribulations through the years. This is my life, my times, my legacy, sharing with today’s generation our yesterdays and goodbyes for their tomorrows hello. About the Author: Noel G. was raised on the Cheshire side of the River Mersey, a stone’s throw from the mighty city of Liverpool, where he spent most of his time around the docks. Liverpudlians have always struggled to get by, but their humour and two great football teams make up the lifeblood of the city. 'We were always there for each other. There was no class element.' He owns a real estate company and now lives on the Costa Blanca in Spain. This is his first book.
