In the mid 15 century Japan an elite breed of soldiers, known as the Samurai represented the law of the land by obeying the commands of their Emperor.  The Samurai’s carried forth these demands even when the commands seemed to be way beyond the call of duty.   Yoshima Gorisaki, known as Gori is a farmer, father and husband and was once lord Tenchu top soldier in the imperial army, he joined the imperial army at the age of nineteen after his parents assignation, and he quickly rose through the ranks, eventually reaching the highest ranks by the age of twenty-five ruling along side his long time friend the emperor.   As kids Gori and Tenchu were friends and remained friends until one day Gori decided to save a life instead of take one. By doing so he dishonored his roll as the head commander by disobeyed the emperor’s commands to kill the girl. Gori knew the moment he refused his emperor’s command, and once Tenchu gets word of Gori’s betrayal everything will changed between them two forever.  Gori ran off with the one he saved and the one tench loves, disappearing from the face of the earth and no where to be found.  Tench dispatch his warriors to hunt them down, no matter how long it takes and kill them and everyone they love.  Time past...  Then on one beautiful day as everything seemed forgotten, Gori living out on a farm with his family as the emperor and a few of his men appeared and succeed in their mission, by assassinating who was once his good friend, Gori and the beautiful woman he once loved, Nijei and their entire family.  So he thought..  Then from out of the darkest moment in his life Gori prevails and promises to his love ones he will avenge their death. Now on a life long mission to destroy the emperor and all that was involved, and he won’t stop until they are all dead from the blade of his sword.  Will old friendship bring about mercy, or will love and honor bring about vengeful death?
