Young couple purchases an historic home in 1988 and uncovers a potential murder mystery that occurred on the property during World War II. With help from family and neighbors they find a mix of Nazi sympathizers and FBI informants who kept secret a myriad of events for nearly 50 years. Set in a rural area outside St. Louis, Missouri, the young couple learns of little-known war activities that added to the need for the cover-up. Only at the very end to they learn why the secrecy was so important.
