This was strike two.* With the coming of Jesus Christ, God gave humanity a third chance. Jesus offered salvation through faith, guided by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in each believer.* In time, zealous, God-fearing Christians migrated to a new Promised Land in America. These Pilgrims were intent upon building a righteous society surrendered to God, styled as a shining City on a Hill.* Sadly, the descendants of the Pilgrims and members of Western society in general have progressively rejected Christianity, succumbed to carnality, and turned to the third and final idol, the satanic Beast System of almighty government described in the Book of Revelation.* For humanity, it’s three strikes and you’re out.
